Improve the clarity of an image and optionally make it larger.
What it does
It applies a clean-up pipeline — denoise, local and global contrast, colour and sharpening — and can upscale the image up to 4×. A before/after slider shows the difference.
How it works
- Upload an image and pick a mode (auto, photo, document, screenshot or portrait).
- Choose an upscale factor (1×, 2× or 4×) and a strength level, then enhance.
- Drag the before/after slider to compare, and download when you're happy — nothing downloads automatically.
Supported formats
Input: JPG/JPEG, PNG, WebP. Output: your chosen image format.
What you get
An enhanced image at the same size or upscaled 2×/4×, in your chosen format.
Important limitations
- Upscaling improves clarity by interpolation — it does not invent detail that was never captured, so it can't recover text or faces that aren't in the original.
- Already-sharp images change more subtly than soft or low-quality ones.

Frequently asked questions
- Does it use PicWish or another third-party service?
- No. Enhancement runs on Zegi's own servers using open-source image processing. Your images are not sent to PicWish or any external AI service.
- Can it recover detail that isn't there?
- No tool can truly invent missing detail. Zegi sharpens and upscales what's present; it does not fabricate faces or text that weren't captured.
- Will the 'after' look fake or over-processed?
- The enhancement is tuned to look natural — clearer and punchier, without halos or an artificial 'sketch' look. Use the before/after slider to judge before downloading.
- Is there an API for image enhancement?
