Data Retention Policy

This policy describes how long Zegi retains uploaded documents.

This is a foundation document. Final legal text must be reviewed by qualified UAE legal counsel before launch.

Public processing

Anonymous/public uploads are retained for up to 7 days, then become eligible for automatic deletion.

Sensitive documents processed under 'process & delete' target a maximum retention of 3 days.

Account and organization policies may control retention within the platform's limits.

Retention is enforced by scheduled cleanup jobs, not manual deletion.
