Turn a photo of a document into clean, editable text.
What it does
It takes a photo or upload of a document and reads it with OCR, so you get selectable text you can copy or export — handy for receipts, letters and forms on the go.
How it works
- On mobile, capture the document with your camera; on desktop, upload an image.
- Zegi reads the page with OCR in English and Arabic.
- Copy the text or export it to Word, Excel or PDF.
Supported formats
Input: camera capture or image upload (PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP). Output: text or exported document.
What you get
Extracted text you can copy or export; combine with Searchable PDF to keep the original look.
Important limitations
- Results depend on lighting and focus; a flat, well-lit, in-focus shot reads best.
- Extreme angles or shadows reduce OCR accuracy.
Privacy & your files
Your files are processed on Zegi's own servers — never sent to a third-party AI service — and are removed automatically after processing. See our Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy for details.
